I have started this blog to showcase and talk about my business. First, here is a little info on how I started out and some of my goals... LB Studios began a year ago last month (then called LB Invitations), as I began making invitations/cards. The very first invite I ever made was for my own wedding. I absolutely fell in love with the thought that I could provide a service to all brides who didn't want to spend those precious planning minutes making their own invitations! I LOVE anything paper! Textured paper is by far my favorite! A few months later I had a friend ask me to take pictures of her baby girl because she was having a hard time getting in touch with the photographer she had used before. I had kind of been dabbling a little bit in editing and things myself, just for fun, and I already had an SLR camera... so I said, "why not?!" That day began my journey in the realm of photography. I absolutely fell in love with the feeling you get when you edit the photos you have taken and they become precious photos in the sight of mommies and daddies!! I started my own facebook page where I now display invitation designs and client photos! Just recently, about 2 months ago, I began making my own photography props in hopes to save $$. Well, I fell in love with that so much too that I decided to begin selling them! I have created my own etsy site where my items are displayed and can be purchased. Along with my love for paper, I also have a love for ribbon and tule... so you will see a lot of things with paper, ribbon, and tule :) I am hoping this blog will help me to better organize the extensions of my business and also offer a place where you can learn about my company. You may even find special deals listed on my blog just for my blogger friends :) I hope to begin a network of friends and co-photographers/designers who love photography and crafts as much as I do. I am all about partnering with people and helping to advertise and build your business too! In this kind of market you can never have too many photographers/designers!! I'd love to get connected with your blogs too and invest in your business or just in your life. I love reading about other people... its an escape from the craziness of life for me. :) Well, enough rambling for now.... I hope you enjoy this blog, and I hope to be dedicated to using it!
